THE FOUNDING OF LIFE FOUNDATION CHURCH

Life Foundation Church started some time in 1975 as a Christian Ministry known as “The Lunch Hour Fellowship” which met for only 30 minutes every working day for several years. It was focussed as a ministry to industrial workers who gathered for fellowship at the Christ Church Cathedral, Lagos , Nigeria . During our meetings the word of God was confirmed with signs and wonders. Many unbelievers were saved while believers were constantly revived. The ministry which started with fewer than ten people and had fellowship for only 30 minutes later grew to have four session of fellowship each working day at the same venue. Once in a month, we had combined fellowship which numbered over 500 in attendance.

 

One could not but acknowledge that this was the doing of the Lord and it is marvelous in our eyes. It was indeed, a wonder. This shows that God could work within any difficult situation or the tightest time frame to fulfill His purpose, especially in saving people from sin. No wonder the ministry was fondly christened “God’s 30-minute Wonder”

 

The Ministry was formally incorporated as Eternal Life Foundation Ministry in 1982 and inaugurated as a Church with the name Life Foundation Church in March 1992. The Church currently has over twelve branches spread across the Federal Republic of Nigeria with the headquarters at 9, Funmilayo Onaronke Street , Akoka, Lagos , Nigeria .

 

There are different ministerial and administrative departments in which any child of God wishing to serve the Lord in Life Foundation Church could find a place to work and feel fulfilled.
