Our faith
As a Christian organization, a Bible-believing Pentecostal Church known as LIFE FOUNDATION CHURCH (a.k.a. Eternal Life Foundation Ministry) we believe...
Only one true God
That there is only one God who is the Creator and Preserver of all things, whether they are visible or invisible. He is infinite in being and perfection. The one and only true God manifested in the Holy Trinity revealed in the persons of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit who are equal in power and glory (Ps. 117-; Col. 3:16; I Jn. 5:7-8).
The Holy Bible
That the Holy Bible consisting of the sixty-six books of both the Old and New Testaments, without error in the works of the original writing is:
(a) The inspired word of God through which He revealed himself to his people and mankind (II Pet. 1:20 -21).
(b) The infallible rule of Faith to guide mankind in all their relationship with God and one another. (Ps.119:9-11,105)
(c) Nothing must be added to or taken from the word of God (I Pet. 1:25 ; Rev. 22:18-19).
Jesus Christ is the Son of God
(a) That Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, is the only Savior of the world
(b) Was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
(c) He is the Grand (main) Subject of all the books of the Bible.
(d) He was crucified, died and was buried but rose from the dead on the third day. (Lu. 24:46- 48; Acts 18:28 ; I Cor. 15:1-4)
(e) After 40 days He ascended into heaven and sat at the right hand of God where He is now our High Priest and Advocate and ever lives to make intercession for the saints.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Holy Trinity. The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ during the age of the Church and to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwel the believer, guide him and instruct him in the things he should do, most especially, he empowers the Christian to live a life of holiness and render fruitful service to the Lord and His Church.
Man
Man was created with a tripartite nature. He is made of body, soul, and spirit. His spirit and soul do not die. So, physical death is not the end of man’s existence. He continues to live after physical death (ICor. 15:19 ). He was made in the image of God but fell into sin and therefore lost, and can only be saved through regeneration by the Holy Spirit by faith in the death and resurrection Jesus Christ. His eternal existence after death will be either in Heaven or Hell.
Sin is Universal
MAN was created in the image and likeness of God, but in Adam all mankind fell into sin with the result that all men are sinners, hopelessly sinful in themselves. (Gen.1:27; Rom. 5:12, Eph.2:1). “...by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin and so sin passed upon all men, for all have sinned...if we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us” (Rom. 5;12, 14; I Jn. 1:8; Ps. 14:2-3; Rom. 3:23; Gen. 6:5; Psa. 58:3; 51:5)
Salvation through Christ
(a) Through only Him we have salvation from sin by faith in his death on the cross, resurrection from the dead and ascension to heaven. (Rom.8:9-10)
(b) Salvation is received by grace through faith and not by works of the law.
(Eph. 2:8-10; Gal. 2:16)
(c) There must be repentance and a forsaking of sin to receive salvation.
(Acts 2:37 - 38; II Cor. 7:10 ; I Jn. 1:9; Prov. 28:13).
(d) It is the transforming work of the Holy Spirit based on faith in Christ which God offers
The Church of Christ
is a people who are :
(a) Redeemed by the blood of Christ (Eph. 2:13 )
(b) Separated from the world (II Cor. 6:16 -18)
(c) Who believe in the Holy Bible (Jn. 20:31 )
(d) Who practice its Christian precepts (Tit. 2:11 -14).
Baptism and Holy Communion
Water Baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal Lord and Savior is a testimony to death to sin and resurrection to a new life and the Lord’s Super is a memorial service setting in a sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord Jesus. Every true believer and indeed, only believers should share in it.
Resurrection of the Dead
Scripture teaches thatall the dead, both the righteous and unrighteous, will be bodily resurrected from the dead back to life. Believers in Christ shall rise to everlasting life and joy and be with the Lord forever, while unbelievers shall rise to judgment and everlasting punishment (John 11:25-26; I Cor. 15:20-22; Rev.20:11-15; Matt.25:46). According to the book of Daniel “...they that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt” Jesus said: “Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” (Dan. 12:2; Jn. 5:28-29)
The Second Coming of Christ
The Second Coming of Christ is the “blessed hope” given for the encouragement of the saints for all time (Tit. 2:13 ). According to scripture, it will usher in the end of this present world order. The Lord will descend from heaven physically with His holy saints to save the people of Israel from total annihilation by the Anti-Christ, and shall establish His millennial reign on earth (Rev. 20:4).
